Programs

AFCHIM shall invest in several programs religious and humanitarian programs - by God's permission. Presently, we paying attention to the following programs below:


Ministry

We shall invest in spreading the gospel to remote areas of the world - by God's permission. Specifically, we shall engage in:

  1. Bible Studies - staying in the doctrine as handed down to us by the apostles.
  2. Work with and strengthen individuals with the calling of God.
  3. Organize religious conferences 
  4. Hold national and international crusades.
  5. Bible ministry and counseling sessions
  6. Operating a food bank and other welfare ministries
  7. Engage in Church planting and growth
  8. Work with other organizations to spread the gospel and to develop underserved and underdeveloped communities globally without regard to race, nationality, religion or creed.

We intend to serve globally under various missions, namely:


African Mission


The headquarters for our African mission is located in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Below are pictures showing construction work on the church site for a school, clinic, and church in the same location. 

Humanitarian Aid


At AFCHIM, we shall always be "our brother's keeper" by providing humanitarian aid to vulnerable populations in times of disaster and other complex emergencies. We shall support charitable causes and provide aid to affected populations and persons with specific emphasis on children, orphans, widows, and the socioeconomically disadvantaged. Presently, we are concentrating on the following:


Healthcare. AFCHIM shall invest in healthcare. Jesus healed the sick and opened the eyes of the blind. Followers of Jesus Christ must invest in activities that bring healing to the hearts and minds of people. In other to achieve this goal, we shall invest in the following:

  • Working with children and adolescence with hearing-impaired issues. 
  • Solicit and collect medications and used medical equipment and supplies from our partners. These materials will be made available to communities in need in Africa and other parts of the world. 
  • As resources become available, we shall also invest in local and mobile clinics in remote communities within our area of operation.
  • We will teach and train interested persons in basic life support skills including CPR/BLS. We will also provide healthcare courses as part of the curriculum in our schools and colleges.

Hunger and Poverty Alleviation. AFCHIM shall invest in hunger and poverty alleviation activities both nationally and internationally. The devil has a stranglehold on people by keeping them in poverty. A poor and hungry person will first seek food, in order to stay alive. All other things are secondary to a hungry person. It is therefore wise to feed the people first as Jesus did, then preach the word to them. This was one of the reasons Jesus fed the multitude (Matt. 14:13-21). To achieve this goal, we shall:

  • Engage in international development projects in the area of agriculture, education, public health, and social change.
  • SPECIFICALLY, we shall invest in the following:
  • Provide scholarships to indigent children orphans.
  • Solicit and distribute food items to people in need.
  • Operate food banks and pantries in our areas of operation.
  • Create social change and bring dignity to disadvantaged and underserved communities by working with community members to build schools, churches, community centers, clinics, and run primary healthcare campaigns alongside other nonprofits.
  • Work with our partners in providing micro-credit and small business loans to women in local communities.

Education and Training. AFCHIM shall invest in education and training by establishing ONLINE and ON CAMPUS programs as a way of reaching and communicating the gospel to all.

We shall invest in the following:

1. Elementary schools

2. Secondary schools

3. Assembly for Christ Christian University [ACCU]. Details coming soon.


We also have programs to empower the hearing impaired and other vulnerable populations. Specifically, we will work with the CAHIOI organization in Sierra Leone (www.cahioi.org) to fulfill our cause.

Partnerships


In our effort to further the work God has called us to do, AFCHIM is seeking partnerships with individuals, organizations (religious and secular), as God permits. Presently, the following organizations have agreed to share links with AFCHIM. We thank God for these predesignated linkages.

We accept in-kind donations of Medical Supplies and Tropical medications. Please, if you intend to donate to our cause, you may donate useable medical supplies and devices that can be easily refurbished and reused.
